Linux Mint 20.0 is now available with its traditional separate releases based on different desktop environments. I have just upgraded my LMDE4 to latest Linux Kernel, so won’t be trying Mint 20.0 anytime soon. What about you?
Linux Mint 20.0 Ulyana
This release of Linux Mint is codenamed Ulyana.
Main improvements in this release:
- improved NVIDIA support (NVIDIA Optimus)
- finally! tray icons updated to HiDPI
- gdebi tool (installing Debian packages .deb) has a fresh look now
- snapd is disabled by default (and APT packages are not allowed to install it)
- Core updated to Linux Kernel 5.4
