Pretty cool! Seems I announced OpenIndiana 2020.4 exactly a year ago, on the same day :)
OpenIndiana is a Solaris OS desktop environment based on the Illumos project that continues the OpenSolaris development.
Improvements in OpenIndiana 2021.04
- OpenSSL and all the dependencies on it updated to OpenSSL 1.1.1
- lots of Python 3 related upgrades (python-37 is still the primary set of packages)
- desktop and productivity apps updated
- many server side products refreshed: nginx, haproxy, bind etc
As always, you can download the ISO images from the Hipster (latest and greated) section of the OpenIndiana.org website.
